Excerpt from the Book: Facing Changes In Employment

Are you currently working?  Unemployed?

Underemployed?  Looking for a new job?  Re-entering the

workforce?  Working as a temporary or part-time employee

wanting full-time employment?  Or possibly you are

considering changing your career?  Perhaps you're already in

the midst of transition to a new career?

Do you know what you want in a job?  Do you know the

direction you wish to go with your career?  Do friends and

employers ask you, "what do you really want?"  You reply,

"I just want a job, with a stable company, making good

money."

With changes happening in today's corporations such as

downsizing, restructuring, redesigning, the utilization of

outsourcing, independent contractors, temporaries and

consultants for jobs previously held by employees,  these

changes are happening too rapidly.  Employment, the way

we've known it for years, is drastically changing.  The jobs

we've held for five or ten years or more are now being

downgraded or eliminated.  Many being sent off shore.

With all these changes happening in the workplace, you

must change too, or be left behind.  Much of this employment

change is how you view your employment.  How you perceive

your job as a major portion of your life.  When your job is in

jeopardy, your life is turned upside down.  The perception of

yourself, your employment and how you search for

employment must change so that you can be successful in

achieving your career goals.

If you are considering starting a business, going to work for

someone else as an employee, working as an independent

contractor, consultant and/or temporary, or seeking some

other form of employment, Facing Changes In Employment

will benefit you regardless of your employment direction.  In

today's changing employment market, you'll need to equip

yourself with effective techniques using a proven approach to

create employment for you now and well into the future.

Facing Changes In Employment will offer you an opportunity

to stimulate your career focus, help you understand the

transition you are experiencing, and then direct and energize

your employment search into areas you may never have

thought with results that will surprise you.

Once you've implemented the strategies listed herein,  you

will be on your way to successfully achieving your career

goals.  If you find you are not attaining employment success,

please give me a call, and let's discuss what element is

missing for you in your particular situation.

I would also like to hear from those of you who are

successful in achieving your career goals after reading this

book.

Good Luck!
