I can hear even when …

there is no sound.

Long before others wince

I hear danger in the night and love at sunrise…

I hear my breath during a long hot summer daze…

I listen intently for negative sounds …

And deflect with my positive shield of peace…

 

Predators are dangerous

For they feed on negativity,

And want to draw me into their dark world. 

 

As I listen for predators,

I am strong with the light and the power …
